Class address: 779 North 375 East Springville, UT 84663
This location is about hour to an hour and fifteen minutes south of the Salt Lake City Airport depending on traffic.
If you are not driving your own car, UBER, LYFT, or renting a car is recommended.
Unless you are staying very close, you will still need to depend on rides to/from class and to get around town for food, etc..
It’s common to ask other students to share rental cars and/or rides. Those who are local may be able to pick up others on their way to class. Please volunteer if you’re able and "reply all" to emails sent upon registration to inquire with others about sharing transportation and/or lodging. Some hotels have shuttles, so please check with your hotel of choice.
Lodging and food:
for lodging near the class location. Many
students find rates as low as $25/night.
The training location is a residential home on the north side of Springville. There are two
hotels just off of the 1400 North freeway exit that are very reasonably priced and are
2.5 miles from training location.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springville-South Provo Area (801) 489-5000 Best Western Mountain View Inn (801) 489-3641
Food: There is a Smith’s, a Walmart, and a local grocery store called Reams about 2-3 miles from the training location along with a fair selection of restaurants. You are required to bring snacks and meals to eat in. The training will be taking place in a residential home, so you will have access to a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, etc. Please bring snacks & drinks as well as your lunch, so that you will not have to eat a larger meal and then give or receive Ashiatsu.
If you do not bring food, we won’t be able to stay on schedule. We will be taking plenty of small breaks during the day and going outside or for a quick walk if
possible. However, leaving the premises is not an option in order to end on time
